Senior Data Scientist

About the role
This is a Senior Product Data Scientist opportunity with a growing Series D US digital health business focused on making mental healthcare more accessible through technology. The role sits within the Product organisation and offers broad ownership across product analytics, experimentation, statistical modelling and applied data science. The business operates at significant scale, with a large network of mental health clinicians and millions of patient visits delivered, meaning data-driven improvements can have a tangible impact on patient experience and clinical operations. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering and Design teams, alongside stakeholders in Clinical, Operations and Finance, to identify growth opportunities, improve patient engagement and clinician efficiency, and influence strategic decisions. A key part of the role is proactively identifying trends, risks and opportunities rather than simply responding to requests for analysis. You’ll also lead experiments, define success metrics, apply statistical methods to evaluate outcomes, and turn one-off analyses into repeatable reporting and actionable insights for senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years’ experience in data science or analytics, strong Python and SQL skills, and a solid grounding in experimental design, causal inference and statistical analysis. Experience working with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery is expected, while dbt experience and a background in product growth or experimentation-led teams would be advantageous. This is a senior individual contributor position suited to someone who combines strong technical ability with commercial thinking, clear communication and the confidence to influence product and business decisions in a fast-moving healthcare technology environment. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

- Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
- Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
