Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

This is a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) opportunity with a fast-growing US mental health platform focused on making care more effective and accessible. The business runs a three-sided marketplace connecting patients, clinicians and insurance payors, and operates at real scale, with around 15 million therapy sessions started on the platform. The role offers broad ownership of customer-facing features across the stack, in a product-focused engineering organisation where the systems you build directly shape how patients and providers find, book and access care. You’ll design, build and ship features across frontend and backend, owning work end to end from scoping through testing, deployment and iteration. You’ll improve core systems such as discovery, scheduling and transactions, run A/B tests from hypothesis to rollout, resolve production incidents and complex cross-system bugs, and take an active part in code reviews and architectural discussions. You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Data on scoped, measurable solutions, and may join one of several teams covering areas such as client activation, engagement, care quality and coverage and payments. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years’ professional software engineering experience, hands-on Python and modern React and TypeScript, and a track record of building production systems where data quality, correctness and performance matter. They will be product-minded, able to deliver scoped work independently, and comfortable using AI-assisted development tools. This is a hybrid position based in New York, with three days a week in the office (Tuesday to Thursday), suited to a senior engineer who wants end-to-end ownership and a clear line from their code to patient outcomes. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
