Lead Analytics Engineer

About the role

This is an Analytics Engineering Lead opportunity with a Series C US digital health business offering dietitian-led, insurance-covered metabolic health care across all 50 states. The role is an early hire on the Data team and focuses on marketing attribution, performance measurement and channel optimisation, blending analytics engineering with strategic insight. It offers a chance to help define the team’s long-term data vision. You’ll own the analytics stack from raw data to models, dashboards and insights, lead proactive analyses with business stakeholders to find growth and efficiency levers, and design dashboards for a wide range of audiences. You’ll work with Engineering to validate and optimise pipelines, keep a single source of truth, and build a data-first culture through documentation and evidence-based decisions. The core stack is SQL, dbt and Fivetran. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ analytics experience owning end-to-end work at a fast-paced, high-growth company, with clean, performant SQL, hands-on dbt and Fivetran, and a solid grasp of data modelling and ETL. They will explain complex analysis clearly to leadership and take a builder’s approach to ownership. The role is based in New York, with the Data team in the office two to three days a week, and suits someone who wants both technical depth and commercial influence. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
