Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

This is a Senior Full Stack Engineer opportunity with a growing Series B New York health tech business that uses AI orchestration to improve revenue cycle management for healthcare providers. The role designs, builds and ships scalable web applications and backend systems, leads technical direction on complex projects and mentors junior engineers. You’ll design and implement software across the stack, prototype and build web applications with complex interactions and reusable components, and build and maintain server-side applications, APIs and database systems. You’ll work with Product, Design, Customer Success and Sales on customer-facing features, lead projects as a systems design expert, and maintain code quality through testing and code review. The stack includes Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, strong Python and TypeScript with React, and a deep understanding of Python frameworks such as FastAPI. Strong systems design skills, experience scaling client-facing applications, CI/CD experience and good product sense for prioritising MVPs are expected. Health tech or analytics tool experience, AWS and Datadog would be advantageous. The company is based in New York City, and the role suits an engineer who is comfortable with ambiguity and ships quickly without losing long-term quality. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
