About the role

This is a Senior Product Engineer (Full Stack) opportunity with a Series B health tech business building an AI doctor that offers free AI consultations and low-cost physician visits. The role ships patient, clinician and partner features, working in an AI-native way with coding agents day to day. You’ll build patient experiences for onboarding, AI consultations, records, prescriptions and follow-up, connect AI consultations to clinical workflows, and build tools and integrations for clinicians and healthcare partners. You’ll improve performance, accessibility, privacy and reliability, and review usage and feedback after launch. The stack includes Next.js, React and TypeScript, Swift and Kotlin for native apps, Python and FastAPI, MariaDB, Redis, and Docker on AWS ECS, with FHIR-based workflows. The ideal candidate will have a record of shipping user-facing products across frontend and backend, strength in one part of the stack with working knowledge of the rest, and the ability to define solutions when requirements are incomplete. Daily experience directing coding agents and automating repeated work is expected, along with sound judgement on privacy, security and accessibility. Many successful candidates will have 5+ years’ experience, and healthcare, fintech or other regulated-field experience would be advantageous. This is a hybrid position in New York City or San Francisco. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

What you'll do

  • Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
  • Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
  • Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
