Software Engineer, Developer Productivity

About the role

This is a Software Engineer (Developer Productivity) opportunity with a New York AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers and biopharma to speed new treatments to patients. The role owns the systems that set how fast the engineering team ships, including CI/CD, build systems, development environments and the infrastructure that lets AI coding agents work in the codebase. You’ll own CI/CD, deployment automation, build systems and development environments to shorten the path from commit to production, build infrastructure for coding agents such as sandboxed execution and CI that validates agent-generated changes, and build internal tooling for refactors, migrations, dependency upgrades and test generation. You’ll drive company-wide adoption of agentic development through golden paths and standards, build evaluation and guardrail systems, and track metrics such as CI health, deploy frequency and agent-merge success. It asks for experience building developer tooling, internal platforms or CI/CD infrastructure, strong Python and Bash skills, hands-on experience with agentic development tools such as Claude Code and Codex, and a record of changing how people work. This is an in-person role at the company’s SoHo office in New York City, suited to an engineer who wants to multiply the output of a whole team. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
