Engineering Manager

About the role

This is an Engineering Manager opportunity with a New York AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers and biopharma to speed new treatments to patients, supporting providers across most US ZIP codes. The role is a technical player-coach position leading an engineering team, writing and reviewing code, making architecture decisions and owning hiring, development and whether the team’s work delivers business results. The company is hiring across three areas: Provider Product and Growth, the core product used by providers and their staff; Core Platform and Automation, covering long-running workflows, integrations, data and AI agent subsystems; and Life Sciences Engineering, building products with biopharma partners. You’ll own team outcomes from problem definition through launch, stay hands-on in production code, recruit and onboard engineers, give clear and direct feedback, and drive how the team uses AI in development. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years building software that real users depend on, 2+ years leading engineers, full-stack experience, a record of recruiting strong engineers and the ability to turn ambiguous business problems into shipped solutions. This is an in-person role at the company’s SoHo office in New York City, suited to a hands-on manager who wants to build a team at pace. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
