Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

This is a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer opportunity with a Seed-stage US health data company that runs a patient-controlled platform, aggregating people’s health records and turning them into research-ready datasets for biopharma. The role builds and improves the company’s products end to end, from design through deployment and maintenance, and the title can flex to principal, lead, staff or senior depending on the candidate. You’ll design and ship scalable software with cross-functional teams, own features from concept through maintenance, set testing and deployment practices, and turn product and design input into technical specifications. You’ll take part in the on-call rotation. The stack is Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and 5+ years in software development, including at least 2 in a startup, with proficiency across Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud or similar. Digital health experience is a strong plus. This is a remote US position with a secondary location in New York City, suited to a senior engineer who wants broad ownership of a product at an early stage. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
