About the role
This is a Staff Integrations Engineer opportunity with a Series A US healthcare data platform that brings fragmented patient information together so it is complete, current and actionable. The role is a hands-on individual contributor position combining software engineering with solution delivery, owning technical strategy for complex customer integrations and acting as a senior technical adviser to customers. You’ll own delivery of integrations such as state health information exchange and ADT feeds from scoping through production support, design data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and delivery, and build roster management workflows. You’ll architect data transmission over APIs, SFTP and event-driven systems, build automated quality and validation frameworks, advise customers on integration design and interoperability, and build monitoring, alerting and internal tooling. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in software, integrations or forward-deployed engineering, strong programming in Python or Go, and experience with healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, ADT and CDA. Strong SQL on large messy datasets, the ability to debug distributed systems end to end, customer-facing communication skills and AI-native development experience are expected. This is a remote US position within the Solutions and Forward Deployed Engineering team. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
What you'll do
- Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
- Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
- Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
