Senior Software Engineer

About the role

This is a Senior Software Engineer opportunity with a growing New York AI platform for consumer packaged goods brands, running deductions, cash application, planning, finance and operations in one system. The business serves hundreds of brands and has raised a significant Series B round. Note that this is a CPG finance business, not healthtech. You’ll build core platform infrastructure, including data pipelines, financial analytics, backend services and APIs, and AI-powered document workflows. You’ll work closely with product and sometimes directly with customers, and own backend and systems design decisions. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend and systems design skills. The wider stack includes Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript and React. This is an on-site role in New York City with relocation support, suited to an engineer who wants to build AI-enabled finance software at pace. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
