Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

This is a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer opportunity with a growing New York AI platform for consumer packaged goods brands, running deductions, cash application, planning and finance in one system. The business has raised a significant Series B round. Note that this is a CPG finance business, not healthtech. You’ll own AI problems end to end, including LLM systems that turn inconsistent financial documents into clean, validated data, agentic workflows that reason over fragmented enterprise systems, and demand forecasts across thousands of intermittent time series using classical and gradient-boosted models. You’ll handle messy-data engineering (anomaly detection, entity reconciliation, ingestion from varied sources) and define success through evaluation datasets, benchmarks and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of applied AI and ML experience with production systems and strong evaluation and monitoring practice. Depth in at least one of forecasting and statistical modelling, LLM and agentic systems, or large-scale messy-data engineering is expected. This is an on-site role in New York City with relocation support. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
