Software Engineer

About the role

This is a Software Engineer opportunity with a growing New York AI platform for consumer packaged goods brands, running deductions, cash application, planning and finance in one system. It is a generalist product engineering role. Note that this is a CPG finance business, not healthtech. You’ll build product features and backend services across the stack, including AI-powered document processing, and ship production software in a fast-moving team. The stack across the business includes Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript and React. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of software engineering experience, strong programming fundamentals and a record of shipping production software. This is an on-site role in New York City with relocation support, suited to an engineer earlier in their career who wants to grow quickly. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

• Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
• Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
• Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
• Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
