Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

This is a Forward Deployed Engineer opportunity with a growing New York AI platform for consumer packaged goods brands, running deductions, cash application, planning and finance in one system. The role works directly with enterprise customers during onboarding and implementation. Note that this is a CPG finance business, not healthtech. You’ll build integrations with customer systems such as retailer and freight portals, run implementations end to end, and feed product gaps back to the core team. The stack includes Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript, React, Vue, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, AWS and AI tooling built on foundation models. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of engineering experience and be comfortable with ambiguous, customer-facing work. This is an on-site role in New York City, suited to an engineer who likes being close to customers. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
