About the role

This is an Applied AI/ML Engineer opportunity with a growing New York AI platform for consumer packaged goods brands, running deductions, cash application, planning and finance in one system. The role builds production LLM and forecasting systems. Note that this is a CPG finance business, not healthtech. You’ll build LLM systems that convert inconsistent financial documents into validated data, design agentic workflows with evaluation harnesses and guardrails, and improve demand forecasts across thousands of intermittent time series. You’ll clean and reconcile messy data and define success through eval datasets, benchmarks and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of applied AI and ML experience with production systems, routinely builds evaluation and monitoring, and has strong product sense. A Master’s degree in a STEM field is listed. Forecasting (Prophet, ARIMA-family, gradient-boosted models), RAG and information extraction experience would be advantageous. This is a New York City role with relocation support. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
