Frontend Engineer

About the role

This is a Design Engineer opportunity with a growing New York AI platform for consumer packaged goods brands, running deductions, cash application, planning and finance in one system. The role sits between design and front-end engineering and shapes how operators use complex tools. Note that this is a CPG finance business, not healthtech. You’ll help set product and feature direction, build early working prototypes, test them with real customers, and turn validated patterns into production code and design system contributions. You’ll work closely with product and engineering to define, prototype and ship, often within the same week, and focus on the interface details that make complex operator tools easy to use. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience spanning design and front-end engineering, ideally in B2B SaaS or complex workflow products, with a portfolio showing product thinking and polish. Active use of AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code is expected. This is a New York City role with relocation support. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
