Full Stack Engineer

About the role

This is a Software Engineer (Fullstack) opportunity with an early-stage New York company building AI agents for healthcare front offices, handling patient requests such as scheduling, referrals, prescription refills and billing questions, and documenting the outcome in the EHR. The agents already handle hundreds of thousands of patient interactions across 20+ specialties. You’ll build and operate production full-stack features for AI-driven healthcare communication, integrate with EHRs, legacy healthcare systems and real-time voice infrastructure, improve reliability, performance and scalability, and take part in code reviews and technical discussions. The stack is Node.js, TypeScript, React and PostgreSQL, alongside LLM-based systems and real-time voice. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years shipping production software with strong full-stack experience, comfort with ambiguity and an ownership mindset. This is an in-person role in New York City, suited to an engineer who wants to build AI products used in live clinical operations. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
