Platform Engineer

About the role

This is a Software Engineer (Infrastructure) opportunity with a Seed-stage healthcare AI company building an agentic workflow platform for revenue cycle and administrative tasks. It is the company’s first infrastructure engineer. You’ll own DevOps, developer experience, compliance and observability for the AWS stack, including LLM observability, reducing AWS spend, network security (VPNs, firewalls) and automating compliance with AI agents. You’ll identify the highest-ROI infrastructure problems and build the roadmap. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years leading or working on infrastructure teams at strong companies and the communication to drive change. Experience owning HIPAA, SOC 2 or ISO audit processes would be advantageous. The stack includes AWS and Ruby on Rails. This is an on-site role in New York City or the San Francisco Bay Area. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
