Data Engineer

About the role

This is a Data Engineer opportunity with a Series A New York healthcare finance company building an AI-powered financial operating system for medical practices, recovering revenue lost to fragmented data, manual workflows and opaque payer systems. It recently closed a $22M Series A. You’ll build and scale data pipelines and integrations for messy healthcare financial data, with early-team ownership of the technical roadmap and engineering culture. The work touches distributed systems coordination, AI pipelines and big data tooling, with CI/CD on GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in data engineering focused on pipelines and integrations, with strong Python and database performance experience. Healthcare data or interoperability experience would be advantageous. This is an on-site role in New York City, three days a week in the office. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
