Software Engineer

About the role

This is a Software Engineer (Backend) opportunity with a Series A New York healthcare finance company building an AI-powered financial operating system for medical practices. You’ll design and build complex pipelines for AI agents and data ingestion, scale data integration infrastructure to connect with varied healthcare systems, solve interoperability problems so practices can recover lost revenue, and speed up customer onboarding. You’ll help set the architectural vision, review code and write technical design documents. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of backend engineering experience focused on data pipelines and integrations, strong Python and database systems experience, distributed systems coordination, and big data technologies. CI/CD with GitHub Actions is part of the workflow, and healthcare data or interoperability experience would be advantageous. This is an on-site role in New York City, three days a week in the office. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
