Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

This is a Forward Deployed Insights Engineer (Applied AI) opportunity with a Series A New York company building agentic AI software for healthcare finance teams. Its agents run continuously against each customer’s own data and workflows. You’ll set up customer workspaces and build AI agents and ML models on the company’s existing agent infrastructure, scope high-value healthcare finance problems with customers and product, build dashboards that help finance and operations leaders act on model outputs, demo solutions to non-technical audiences, and turn customer-specific work into platform features. You’ll test and validate the accuracy of what you ship. The stack is Python, SQL, AI coding tools, CI/CD and BI or light front-end tools, with GCP preferred. The ideal candidate will have deep healthcare domain experience (consulting, forward-deployed or health tech) with claims, EHR or revenue cycle data, strong Python and SQL, daily use of AI-assisted coding tools and experience presenting to end users. Years of experience are not stated. This is an in-person role in New York City, four days a week. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
