Software Engineer

About the role

This is a Software Engineer opportunity with a Seed-stage New York AI company automating healthcare recruiting for large health system customers, now in a growth phase expanding workflows and UI systems. You’ll ship product workflows end to end across the database, API and UI layers, build responsive interfaces for enterprise teams, help evolve the design system, improve performance and reliability, and work with product and design on roadmap decisions. The stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js and Postgres or MySQL, with AI and real-time components. The ideal candidate will have production full-stack experience, strong React and TypeScript including complex UI architecture and state management, and experience designing and consuming APIs. Years of experience are not stated. Design system work, real-time systems and LLM-powered features would be advantageous. This is a hybrid role in New York City, in the office Monday to Thursday. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
