Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

This is a Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer opportunity with a Series C New York healthcare data company whose platform gives life sciences organisations data and AI-driven insight on doctors and trials. The role embeds with pharma clients’ clinical, medical affairs and R&D teams. Note that it is Salesforce-heavy. You’ll own end-to-end Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud implementations, including feature development, customisation and data model design, translate client requirements into technical solutions, build Python and Airflow pipelines, write SQL and design data models for pharma workflows, and act as the technical point of contact for enterprise pharma accounts. You’ll define standards as the forward deployed function scales. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce consulting (Apex, Flows, Lightning Components) with shipped implementations, strong Python with Airflow and ETL experience, and SQL and data modelling skills. Life Sciences Cloud and pharma consulting experience would be advantageous. This is a hybrid position in New York City. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
