Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (Android)

About the role

This is a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile, Android) opportunity with a Series D consumer sleep and recovery technology company, combining hardware, software and AI. It is not healthtech in the provider sense. The app is the main way members control the product and see insights. You’ll build and ship native Android features, conduct code reviews and optimise app performance, working closely with backend, firmware and ML engineers. The stack is Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow and MVVM or MVI. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years shipping high-quality features in native Android apps and experience building scalable, testable apps. Custom Compose UI components, hardware products and health or wellness app experience would be advantageous. This is a remote US position (with San Francisco, New York and Boston-area options). The company describes a high-intensity culture. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
