Engineering Manager, Billing

About the role

This is an Engineering Manager (Billing) opportunity with a Series B healthtech company behind an ONC-certified EHR used by around 40,000 providers. You’ll lead the team behind billing, one of the most important parts of the platform. You’ll manage and grow engineers, set direction and delivery for billing, and stay close to the Rails, React, TypeScript and GraphQL stack. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of engineering experience including 2+ years managing teams. The role is hybrid in NYC or LA, 2 to 3 days a week in the office. Visa sponsorship is not available. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

• Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
• Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
• Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
• Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
