Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role
This is a Forward Deployed Engineer opportunity with a Series B healthtech company behind an ONC-certified EHR used by around 40,000 providers. You’ll work directly with customers to solve hard technical problems on the platform. You’ll scope and build custom solutions and integrations, debug complex customer cases, and bring what you hear in the field back to the product team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles. The role is hybrid in NYC. Visa sponsorship is not available. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
What you'll do
- Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
- Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
- Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
- Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
