About the role
This is a Staff Engineer opportunity with a Series B healthtech company behind an ONC-certified EHR used by around 40,000 providers. You’ll set technical direction on a platform that handles sensitive clinical and financial data at scale. You’ll lead architecture decisions, take on the hardest cross-team problems, and mentor engineers across a Rails, React, TypeScript and GraphQL stack. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of engineering experience and a record of technical leadership. The role is hybrid in NYC. Visa sponsorship is not available. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
What you'll do
- Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
- Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
- Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
- Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
