About the role
This is a Staff Full Stack Engineer (New Billing) opportunity with a Series B healthtech company behind an ONC-certified EHR used by around 40,000 providers. You’ll be the technical lead on a rebuilt billing product. You’ll design the architecture, write code across Rails, React, TypeScript and GraphQL, and guide the team through delivery. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience and has led complex product builds as a tech lead. The role is hybrid in NYC. Visa sponsorship is not available. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
What you'll do
- Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
- Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
- Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
- Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
