Data Scientist

About the role

This is a Data Scientist opportunity with a Series A healthtech company using LLMs to automate clinical chart abstraction. You’ll turn messy clinical records into accurate, structured data. You’ll design and run experiments, evaluate model output against clinical ground truth, and work with engineers and clinicians to improve accuracy. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7+ years of data science experience, including 3 to 4+ years in healthcare, which is a hard requirement. The role is hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week in NYC or Boston. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

What you'll do

• Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
• Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
• Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
• Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
