Data Scientist

About the role

This is a Forward Deployed Data Scientist opportunity with a Series A healthtech company using LLMs to automate clinical chart abstraction. You’ll work with health system customers to get the models working on their data. You’ll dig into customer records, tune and evaluate model performance, and translate clinical needs into technical fixes. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of data science experience and a healthcare background. The role is hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week in NYC or Boston. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

What you'll do

• Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
• Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
• Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
• Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
