Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

This is a Machine Learning Engineer opportunity with a Series A healthtech company using LLMs to automate clinical chart abstraction. You’ll build the production systems that run the models. You’ll write Python services, build cloud-based pipelines, and deploy and monitor LLM-driven workflows at scale. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7+ years of backend and cloud experience with strong Python. The role is hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week in NYC or Boston. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

What you'll do

• Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
• Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
• Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
• Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
