Senior Software Engineer

About the role

This is a Senior Software Engineer opportunity with a Series E AI company building agents for housing and healthcare, working on autonomous buildings in proptech. You’ll build backend systems connecting smart building hardware and AI. You’ll write code in Java, C#, Go or Python and own features end to end. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of professional engineering experience. The role is in-office in San Francisco, four to five days a week, with relocation support offered. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.

What you'll do

• Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
• Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
• Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
• Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
