About the role
This is a Staff Software Engineer opportunity with a Series B New York healthtech company building software for healthcare billing and revenue operations. You’ll set technical direction as the platform and team grow. You’ll lead architecture across the stack, which includes Python, Java, TypeScript and Go on AWS, Azure and GCP, and mentor engineers. The ideal candidate will have staff-level experience and a record of technical leadership. The role is on-site in New York. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
What you'll do
- Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
- Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
- Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
- Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
