About the role
This is a Founding Engineer opportunity with a Seed stage New York AI-native healthtech startup. You’ll help shape the product and the engineering culture from the start. You’ll build full stack in TypeScript, React and Node.js, and put LLMs at the centre of the product. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on builder who is comfortable with ownership and ambiguity. The role is hybrid in New York. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
What you'll do
- Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
- Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
- Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
- Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
