About the role
This is a Director of AI/ML opportunity with a remote US clinical AI company building decision support for hospitals. You’ll lead the AI and ML function and set the technical direction. You’ll manage and grow the team, shape the roadmap, and work across HL7 and FHIR data on platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks and Redshift. The ideal candidate will have AI/ML leadership experience in a regulated or healthcare setting. The role is remote within the US. We're looking for someone curious, pragmatic, and eager to work across the stack with a small senior team. You'll own end-to-end delivery of major features, influence architecture, and mentor engineers.
What you'll do
- Ship customer-facing features on a weekly cadence.
- Partner with design and product on scoping and trade-offs.
- Drive technical quality through review, testing, and docs.
- Mentor one or two engineers on your team.
