Description
This is a Software Engineer (Platform and Infrastructure) opportunity with a New York AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers and biopharma to speed new treatments to patients. The role owns the compute and data foundations the company runs on, including the EKS platform, the data layer, cloud reliability and infrastructure cost, and makes architecture decisions meant to last for years. You’ll own the compute platform, covering container orchestration, networking, autoscaling and ingress, own the performance and reliability of the data layer across Postgres, OpenSearch and BigQuery, and build cost attribution to drive savings across compute, data and storage. You’ll define platform reliability through SLOs, capacity planning, observability and incident response, and build infrastructure as code and self-serve primitives so product teams can run services safely. The posting does not state years of experience. It asks for production Kubernetes experience at meaningful scale, deep AWS expertise (EKS, VPC, IAM) with Terraform, experience running a low-downtime database migration, and comfort in a regulated environment, where PHI, HIPAA or SOC 2 familiarity is a plus. This is an in-person role at the company’s SoHo office in New York City, described as demanding, with high autonomy and responsibility.
