Mobile Engineer

This is a Mobile Engineer (React Native) opportunity with a New York virtual healthcare company whose mission is to make high-quality healthcare accessible to everyone, wherever they are. The role starts as a React Native engineer on a team of five full-time engineers, working with the founder and CEO on product and the Senior Medical Director on clinical needs. You’ll build the iOS and Android mobile app, using the existing mobile-friendly web app and design work as the starting point, and possibly build the first version with little support from other engineers. You’ll take part in daily standups and weekly sprint meetings and deliver against an aggressive product roadmap, with the potential to move into a leadership role as the organisation grows. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year in an engineering role at an early-stage, high-growth startup, with the preferred range 1 to 5 years, and experience with TypeScript and React Native. They will be resourceful, ownership-minded and curious. This is an on-site role in New York City, in person four days a week, with no remote or hybrid option stated.
