Research Scientist

This is an AI Research Engineer opportunity with a Seed-stage healthcare AI company building an AI-native denial management platform for revenue cycle teams. The role owns model quality: improving LLM orchestration, prompt optimisation, evaluation frameworks and AI infrastructure, and helping product engineers ship. You’ll follow LLM research closely, test new model releases against real healthcare billing workflows, and build AI agents with complex asynchronous distributed systems behind them. You’ll balance fast experimentation with systematic evaluation and own AI quality across the product. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building AI agents, very strong Python, and a habit of rigorous evaluation. Years of experience are not stated. This is an on-site role in New York City or the San Francisco Bay Area.
